Abu Dhabi will host the Argentina's biggest football event Super Copa in January 2023

The Argentina Football Association organises the Supercopa Argentina (Argentine Super 

Cup), an official national association football cup in Argentina (AFA). The annual football 

match was held for the first time in 2012, with the ruling Primera División and Copa Argentina 

champions competing.

Argentina's biggest football event will be played in Abu Dhabi for the first time. 

Argentina's biggest football event 'Super Copa' will be held outside the country for the first 

time in Abu Dhabi. 

Abu Dhabi will host the Super Copa Cup in January 2023 under an agreement between the 

Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Football Association of Argentina.

The 'Super Copa' or Super Cup is an annual football tournament in which the winning teams 

of the Argentine Primera Division and the Argentine Cup participate. 

Under the agreement, the finals of the Supercopa Argentina will be played in Abu Dhabi for 

four consecutive years.

2022–23 Supercopa de España will begin on Wednesday, 11 January 2023 

and ends on Sunday, 15 January.
